V-ZUG Studio Zurich – Architecture and Interior Design by COCC. and coherent AG.

With the new V-ZUG Studio at Uraniastrasse 40, a space has emerged in the heart of Zurich that unites brand identity, spatial quality, and user experience in a unique way. COCC. and coherent AG was responsible for the strategic planning, architecture, and interior design – from initial concept to final realization.

The design was developed at the intersection of tradition and modernity: The historic building and its architectural heritage were deliberately highlighted, while the interior gives tangible expression to V-ZUG’s core values – precision, sustainability, and Swiss quality. By using natural materials, open structures, and a clear, minimalist design language, we created a harmonious interplay of space, function, and identity.

Concrete and natural stone form the design foundation of the studio. Exposed concrete, applied with precision, conveys a sense of modern, urban clarity – functional, honest, and timeless. Natural stone complements it with grounded elegance, evoking the Swiss topography. Together, the materials create a dynamic balance of coolness and warmth, texture and surface, weight and lightness.

This material concept not only shapes a distinctive visual identity but also emphasizes the studio’s connection to the city of Zurich and its surrounding landscapes – an architectural dialogue between place, brand, and people.

At the heart of the space lies the visitor experience: Open spatial arrangements, generous sightlines, and carefully directed lighting invite exploration and reflection. The studio serves as a showroom, gathering place, and stage – a space where culinary culture, design, and technology seamlessly come together.

Every zone – from the exhibition areas to the lounge and demonstration kitchen – was meticulously planned in close collaboration with V-ZUG and selected partners. All materials and furnishings were chosen with sustainability, quality, and aesthetic integrity in mind, working with manufacturers who share these values.

With the V-ZUG Studio Zurich, we have created a place that not only welcomes visitors but inspires them – an architectural source of exchange, aesthetics, and discovery.
